Author’s Check List

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that all of the following guidelines have been met and check the boxes accordingly.

1. General guidelines

  ▢ The submission includes the original manuscript, the author’s checklist, and the copyright transfer agreement.

  ▢ The manuscript was prepared using MS Word according to the journal’s template (format).

 ▢ The manuscript consists of a Title page, Abstract, Keywords, JEL Classifications, Acknowledgement (if applicable), Main text, References, Appendix (if applicable), Tables, and Figures.

  ▢ Page numbers are provided consecutively, starting from the title page.

2. Title page

  ▢ The manuscript title page includes the title of the manuscript, author names, and affiliations.

  ▢ Only the author names and the corresponding author’s email address are included at the bottom of the title page.

3. Abstract, Keywords

   ▢ For an original article, the abstract length is between 200 and 250 words.

   ▢ Six or fewer keywords are included.

4. Main text

   ▢ Subheadings are arranged according to the order specified in the journal’s template (format).

   ▢ All figures and tables are cited in numerical order according to the order in which they are first mentioned in the text.

   ▢ All figures and tables are cross-referenced (mentioned) within the main text.

5. Tables and figures

   ▢ The titles of figures and tables are placed at the top, flush left, and the first letter of each word in the title is capitalized (excluding prepositions and articles).

   ▢ The use of vertical lines within tables is avoided.

   ▢ Inserted figures or photos are provided in high resolution (at least 300 dpi or higher).

   ▢ Figures or photos are provided in a sufficiently readable size for printing, so that identification is not affected even if they are resized during the printing process.

6. References

  ▢ References follow the KITRI style guidelines.

  ▢ Every item listed in the reference list is cited within the main text.

  ▢ All references are arranged in alphabetical order by author name, followed by the year of publication.

  ▢ The titles of books and journals are written in italics.

  ▢ References are written in their complete form, including the full title of the paper and the names of up to 6 authors. If there are 7 or more authors, list the first 6 followed by “et al.”

  ▢ For academic journal articles, ensure that the author name, (year of publication), paper title, journal name, volume (issue number), and pages are accurate.

  ▢ For books, ensure that the author name, (year of publication), book title (indicating edition if applicable), location of publication, publisher, and pages are accurate.
